After that, an order can be placed with us for a template. Our clients can expect a turnaround time of 2 to 3 weeks from the time that the template is made.

The cost of granite countertops is comparable to Corian, but offers even more benefits. Our granite countertops start at $39 per square foot, or $80 per running foot, for a countertop that is 25 inches in length. While granite is very durable, it can be chipped if subject to high impact blows from hard objects. Granite can also absorb stains if left unsealed. Heat from pots and pans, or burning liquids, will generally not affect granite under normal circumstances.

You should clean your polished granite in the same manner you would clean polished marble. Using a specially-formulated cleaner or mild, phosphate-free, biodegradable liquid dish soap, soap flakes, or powder which contains no aromatics is usually the best course of action. Be sure to follow the cleaning with a thorough rinsing and drying using cotton-flannel or chamois. Using plain soap and water can lead to soap build-up and significantly dull your countertop's finish.

Fortunately, granite doesn't burn or stain with ordinary use. We make sure that your countertops are fully sealed with a specially formulated stone sealer to protect any type of discoloration or damage.
